Researchers at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) seek to understanding the Para coaching work force and would like to make contact.

As part of the pan-European, ParaCoach Erasmus+ project, researchers at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) seek to understanding the Para coaching work force (e.g. number of coaches, level of education and athletes coached) and  best practices in disability sport coaching across Europe. Consequently, they would like to make contact with coaches and coach educators from across Europe.

Overall purpose of the ParaCoach project
The project seeks to enhance sport coaches' learning, mobility and employment through developing a Para-Disability Coaching Framework. This is an Erasmus+ project with partner organisations from across Europe.  The partner organisations are Liverpool John Moores University (UK) the International Council for Coaching Excellence (ICCE); European Paralympic Committee (EPC); Dutch Olympic Committee*Dutch Sports Federation (NOC*NSF); Institute of Sport Poland (ISP); Hungarian Paralympic Committee (HPC).

How can you help?
1.       Please follow the project at www.paracoach.eu<http://www.paracoach.eu> and increase awareness amongst coaches within your organisations
2.       If you are a coach or coach educator please complete the online survey (10min maximum) by clicking >> HERE<https://ljmu.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/erasmus-plus-paracoach> <<
3.       If you would like to be considered for a best practice case study please contact the Para coach team. This will involve a 2 hour interview over skype.
4.       If you have a news item about training and coaching athletes with disability that could go on the website, then please contact the team.
